I think this is a smart move to mitigate the risk of long term power supply from Eskom. In addition, it should have a significant impact in lowering the energy costs in future. There was already a hint in the announcement that it will improve the numbers of the BFS. See below the link to the Juwi website - the Prieska solarplant (featured in the video) is located 10km from the Prieska Project
