you mentioned 200 billion on infrastructure alone --- I wouldn't argue the figure - you would be close to correct at a guess -
however, to me - the really scary thing is that we haven't even factored in anything - not even a single dollar for what Australia needs to drive into the future --------- I don't mean roads or traintracks, ports or airports -
that's just fluff really -
what we need is research ----------- in caps. --- ++++++++
research, development, innovation, invention ---------- in massive amounts.
Invent, innovate, licence, flog
the use of smarts - the only thing that will work in a future that is racing towards us at a pace that most are completely unaware of.
200 billion in infrastructure will be needed - but, if it only gives us bridges and roads to ride bicycles on and trains to take poor people to poor jobs - then, it's worth diddly squat
