Just my opinion, I apologize to all about F W de Klerk,I was partly wrong. 1) P W Botha was prime minister from 1978, then in 1984, president till 1989. 3)In 1984 he started a new constitution-To grant no powers to blacks. 4) He steps down 1989 from a stroke,5) F.W de Klerk became president 1989-1998  6) In 1997 Botha was called upon to testify at a 1997 Truth And Re conciliation Commission Hearing, but refused to show.He quoted "I have nothing to apologize for, I will never ask for amnesty, not now, not tomorrow, not after tomorrow.- P.W Botha 7)He was convicted in absentia,then an appeal and then given a pardon. No politics or human rights will be mentioned in this biography? Once again my humble apology for my mistake ,in my research/comments.
