"One of the biggest complaints we get is that the pizza doesn't look like the commercial," Mr Meij toldThe Australian Financial Review."Pizza Checker will lift our quality significantly."
However, franchisees say Pizza Checker, which is expected to go live in all Australian stores by the end of 2019, is aimed at verifying sales and volumes and they are being forced to pay about $45 a month for the technology.
Mr Meij said Pizza Checker would cost franchisees about $10 a week to maintain after cameras were installed but would cut costs in the longer term if franchisees did not have to replace unsatisfactory pizzas.
....and there be the underlying reason for not meeting the installation rate. Franchisees refusing to pay. Anyone able to verify the costs to operate? (as I am to lazy to go looking
)
