Yes, the pin stripe Party members have opted for Hammond and while the seat is the safest one for the Liberals in WA it will be interesting to see what the voters of Curtin think of the rebuff to Bishop. While the demographic in the seat is such that a Liberal win is virtually guaranteed will there be a swing to or away from the replacement candidate? A swing away would basically mean all those Liberals in more marginal seats could be goners.
