It's quite obvious that "material changes in equity market in US" is definitely look like a lousy excuse to me. Do you (or Roby) know what the "material changes" is?
As I said, I believed MXC management was also being played in this occasion. Look at what's happened to VC deal, we can all agree the management team seems to be quite inexperience (or invigilant).
The biggest mistake of MXC in this case was they announced the deal too soon to the shareholders. They should only announce the deal when everything was settled and confirmed. We can see there were a lot of modifications from the first announcement and the following announcement s(e.g. 1 million become 500k, listed become unlisted etc). This definitely give people a very bad and amateur impression.
