It acquired a 14.9% holding of Coal of Africa (CZA) via tranche1.
The 14.9% is reached when combined with the shares they already had. There is a 2nd tranche of shares, subject to foreign investment rules.
Macarthur coal have announced talks have ended with 3rd party for a special transaction. They also said ArcelorMittal was not the party.
ArcelorMittal acquired 14.9 % of the company in 2 crossings at $20 per share.
