BIG was an ASX listed company which made promotional videos for small businesses. In 2017 and early 2018 it was one of the best performing stocks in the market - quickly went from almost nothing to $500m market cap and was very popular here on HC and promoted as the next internet winner. Then it turned out that they had been lying about sales and cash-flow and the stock crashed. It's now de-listed and being wound up by court appointed administrators.

As an investment over the last couple of years it's done much, much worse than gold.
