I do not know which companies you have worked for or whether you have ever had your own business.

But I can tell you from personal experience, with my own company, which turns over $16M a year, that we check all of our major suppliers: from credit to legal issues. We have had a few issues in the past of IT companies going broke (after the subject of lawsuits) and we were unable to deliver our end of the agreement to our customers.

And you have no idea the problems that caused our customers and to us (from a legal perspective).

All I will say is: Never again will it happen to my business.

So I suspect these major companies will more compliance checks.

Any way, its all my personal opinion.
