Firstly I would suggest no one else read this, lol it is a rather drawn out response to t4p. And mods it contains plenty of CVI in amongst the other stuff so maybe it can stay long enough.

t4p, my posts have nothing to do with blaming anyone for CVI. If anything, the blaming of posters and their ‘agendas’ gets my back up the most!

If I must give some history I will, but I am sorry to say you are pretty far off the mark, especially with regards to recent times.

Overall CVI got me out of the dog house from my first purchase... I was on my knees so to speak, bought some for 17c, they went on that run to 39c... during that period, I was constantly selling them and chipping in to other things, some which also went off their heads. FDL springs to mind, I doubled an already doubled portfolio with them basically.

Regarding the most recent surge in price, I was in the options from 10.5c and 11c (a price that is lower then my biggest sell actually) and out near the peak.

I don’t know why you would think I bought again at this time? If you look at my posts leading up to the announcement, I was very critical of the way things were being handled with regards to the ‘leaking’ and posting of information.

Certainly doesn’t sound like a time someone would be buying to me. And then I even posted once the news was out that I didn’t fully understand, and as such was out!

Later, due to the tossing and turning over whether I had done the right thing (basically because the market seemed to like the news), I bought back some more (a lot less), like I say ‘just in case’. I am not stressed over these ones now, 5c or $5 (though $5 would be nice). This is the best position I could be in given my 50/50 mind on them.

All this was posted, at the times in question, hence me being a little bemused that you would try to guess my exact recent actions, and get them wrong. Or that you would even think they affect my ability to criticise general topics objectively.

Anyways, boring stuff out of the way... but it should be noted that CVI have not been bad for me overall. And have been a thrill of a ride, no doubt. Exactly what a gambling man likes.

I post in this thread the most because there is a lot of debate, and I am familiar with the posters. And it is a bizare stock to follow!

You cannot deny that debate is rife in here with regards to honesty and integrity, up ramping, down ramping, agendas, conspiracy, trading techniques… for the most part it is very entertaining, and there is some good conversation.

I am only human and have posted with emotion attached at times, sure. You want to see me when Collingwood are playing….

But I do think you are underestimating me by assuming any criticism I have is based on some score to settle. I will state this as clearly as I can for you. I have no score to settle, I have no one to blame for any actions I take in the market, ever.

Simply, and nothing to do with CVI or myself and CVI, I think there are a lot of hypocritical view points shared in here with regards to a large range of topics discussed, mostly the quick stomping out of down ramping, whilst turning a blind eye to blue sky ridiculous up ramps. From a psychological point of view, especially where greed comes in, I think it is human nature to be influenced more easily by predictions of obscene wealth then of the opposite.

Nothing is directly targeted at you, though often you could include yourself in some of my generalised group criticisms, for sure. Some of the things I have said apply to lots of people. And as I have said, people I have grown to respect. So rather then target someone, yourself included, I just make my general post at times when it could logically be applied to more then one person, and try to comment on ‘general patterns’ or common view points I disagree with. It is funny that you are the only one that has taken it personally!

And to call them snide remarks…? I beg to differ. They have been pretty clear and blunt. I just don’t address one person in particular a lot of the time, again for the reason given above. This isn’t snide, IMO.

I hope you can see that for the most part, if we are talking about posting behaviours, my comments are from a pretty neutral position. Simply I am drawn in to ethical conversations pretty easily. Believe it or not, I actually enjoy taking an objective view, and there is plenty to take an objective view towards in here!

Don’t take it so personally. Yes, include yourself in some things I say if you feel they apply to you, because some do, and feel free to discuss them with me if you like. But don’t turn it in to some kind of ill intended, planned victimisation, please.

Lastly, my post to 1bacchus was in no way a ‘teamed’ event. He said something I have seen said in here a few times, and I commented that I don’t think it is something that should be said, by anyone. Why does it have to be turned in to something more sinister by you? It was my honest opinion, and still is, and has nothing to do with teaming up! And yes it is something you have done as well. But you are not alone. Hence you were not addressed alone. And neither was 1bacchus, I even apologised for it being in direct response to him.

I hate having to get drawn in to such a long ‘personal’ conversation, but you were both inaccurate and a little offensive in some of your presumptions/comments, particularly your suggestion I was teaming up. I post my own thoughts, and if someone happens to agree with me then so be it, but I don’t need their ‘team support’.

Anyhow, looks like CVI are off to a good start today. But my attention is on CUR at the moment. Doubled my money in them since the beginning of May, and now they are in a TH pending news on the option to acquire a project, I think in Brazil… very exciting, good to get some of the excitement back in recent weeks… I just hope that the recent surge wasn’t people buying on the rumour and selling on the news…
