    The Scandinavian model is not atheistic, it is post Christian. Private ownership in land is a foreign concept to Norse mythology. Christianity constructed feudalism and brought the Christian concept of private ownership in land into the modern era. Private ownership over common lands were foreign concepts to pre-Christian pagan Nordic, Germanic, Celtic and Anglo-Saxon, tribal folk.
