Oops, I actually left 3 "0"s out. Forgot to convert kg to t. Thus my calcs would have yielded 90,000 cars.
Assuming they are wrong, using the LCE approach as suggested by sf@hc, natanui and Joe we have 65,000t SC6/qrt = (/ ~7.5) = 8,700t LCE . @50kg/car = 175,000 cars. Thus roughly every 1t SC6 shipment could power ~2.7 BEV cars. Hence, at 2mta we could power 5M vehicles? That still seems wrong?
I appreciate that not all the spod goes into BEV (does anybody know the proportion???) but the global EV sales in 2018 were only 2M (see here). For 2019 >3M are expected. Something still does not seem right - as I better not have just stumbled over the basis for the MS over supply bs...!
