Of coarse Getup has the conservatives and the self serving business lobby groups running scared and crying foul, spearheaded by the odious Eric Abetz, because it is driven by people power.It represents the small end of town,and people that might actually care about the greater good and are prepared to put their time and resources into fighting for it.Some ratbag conservatives have tried to mobilize their supporters but have failed because they are motivated by short term greed and outdated ideologies which are rejected by the younger generation and their more enlightened progenitors. Tony Abbott epitomises these ratbag conservatives. His time is up and good riddance.
