I'm not sure you can call this period, until the end of Q1 an extension.

It was originally announced that they were hoping for a deal year end of 2018 but should it be needed time would be given. That's code for "time will be given" and Q1 is the target.

Beyond Q1 is an extension, which would be the first one. While highly disappointing if this happens, an RNS is required to detail where we are at in the scheme of negotiations.

Dave can't detail Q1 as the target and leave it open, the market will see this as a negative, as it will no deal.

Buckle up team.

It could look worse before it gets better, or,....... we get a deal done.

The thing is we have no control over this, so we are either in for the ride and the risk or out feeling smug or jealous.

My thoughts this weekend are with those in Christchurch, while I don't personally know any victims, I do have some close friends in the Police and Tactical Response Forces on the ground.

Makes my concerns here, miniscule.
