Well thats how the US are thinking right now, and yes, the boot needs to be removed from somewhere. However, US going into election mode next year, meanwhile China will just keep working on its 2025 plan, chipping away and playing the long game, next president of China will come after death or retirement of currenr president (whichever comes first). Now China are thinking the opposite to the US, the US just doesn't know it yet.
China economy will surpass US in a couple of years, their middle class consumer base is growing rapidly, got some exposure to that thematic via an ETF, up over 30% ytd, albeit most Chinese indicies are up similar atm.
