Not that it matters a fig but were would we be right now if the Liberals had won the last election?
We are now 5 months into a labour govt.

Would Australia's economic situation be any different with the Libs still in charge now than it is under Labour?

Would dear old Jonny have taken 5 cents off the exise on petrol like they want the Labour mob to now do? Of course not why would he, the price of petrol & indeed oil would never have risen under the Libs rule.

We would still have the same old work place relations scheme of course so I suppose companies would be still madly employing new staff instead of laying them off in the coffee shops and small business and having to pay them their entitlements of course.

The poor old workers want a pay rise now to cover the rising costs that Labour has managed to dump on them in 5 months. Dam them Labour/Union mongrels, if the good old libs were still in power the workers wouldnt be wanting any pay rise because they never had it so damm good.

Mr Costello would still be managing the economy in the same old fantastic "I am the best treasurer Australia ever had fashion" and I suppose there would still not be any inflation problems. Just ask Mr Turnbull.

Interest rates, Labours only been in 5 months & already they they'v had two. Thats one every 2&1/2 months. Bloomin hell at that rate they will be 19% again by the time the Libs can kick em out in 4 years
I just knew that interest rates would be lower when the Libs were in.
Housing shortage, what housing shortage? Things were better when the Libs were running the show houses were still affordable to anyone who could still breath & who said they had a job.
Not like now of course, damm the Labour govt for making houses unaffordable & causing the banks to have a credit crisis.

I wish the Libs had one the last election.
