The lack of any related drilling announcement during the entirety of the extension of the exclusivity period thus far is a concern. Suggests a lack of transparency.
HAV's iron ore resources represent > 50% of its JORC ISV at current metal prices. It's understandable that SIMEC may prefer not to share any results with potential competitors and risk creating a bidding war for HAV's valuable iron ore assets, however, HAV is subject to Continuous Disclosure Obligations. Also HAV's Board has a fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of HAV Shareholders, NOT the shareholders of SIMEC.
