We believe today’s negative share price reaction (-14%) was driven by (1) lower 1H19 consumer packaged (finished IF) volumes, and (2) lower than expected gross margins in SM1’s Powders and Creams division. However, we see both of these areas of weakness as resulting from variations in timing in SM1’s sales volumes resulting from orders from its key customers, particularly A2M.
