It's never good to be so passionate about a stock that you're not willing to concede any negatives at all. I like AB1, have held for more than 12 months. But they have their faults, I think that is worth acknowledging.
- No Masterchef app last year
- Very late CDH Android
- HTC Deal flopped
Etc. Please consider whether you can see these as failures. If not you may, in my opinion, be too emotionally invested. Everything has it's negatives, better to accept that.
As for volume:
AB1 hit 11.5cents on the 14/09/2018
Since then we have dropped and risen here and there. Crossed 10c a few times (about 6 times by my count). There's been some killer announcements, not least of which being the initial iClick deal and then the follow up $12.5m contract.
In that time, when the share price has failed to move past that high of 11.5cents, More than 310 million shares have been traded.
Think about that. From our high of 11.5 in Sept 2018, people have been willing to trade more than 310 million shares.
And you think it's crazy of me to assume we will need to trade 80m shares to double from current prices??!
If people were willing to sell for sub 10cents, they sure as hell would love to sell at 12, 13, 14cents.
There's no way that the sell queue represents much past the wall. I can tell you right now, I have nothing in the queue but once we pass 15cents I will start to sell some and cover my position. And there's many more people who will sell. 80m was probably generous.
On Feb 1st 2019 we moved from 10.5c to 11.5 and then closed at 8.5cents on 34m volume. A huge bloodbath of a sell off. If you don't think that'll happen at 15cents (a milestone number by speccy standards) then you are naive.
I love AB1 and will continue to do so, but lets not turn the forum into "only positive posts." Truth is, AB1 has a volume problem. There's way more sellers than buyers, lots of buyers got in above 10c and will be happy to just get out even. And many got in at 4.5cents and will be happen to sell at 15cents. Doesn't mean I need to be attacked, lets just be realistic.
