In this case they set up the factory in close proximity to the assembly line(s). in reality this plant will likely feed 3 to 4 assembly lines (within a 300km radios of the plant) when they all come on line. I think this is to reduce the risk of fires in transporting Li-Ion batteries over a further distance.
I do like sweeteners - and I think Quebec could produce a nice ROI using a few of those now.
