Ok how about Arrium

Manipulation was the single biggest cause of its downfall into administration.

From what Ive read elsewhere It had a capital raising at 54c or thereabouts and the manipulators pushed it down below that price. It was unable to raise capital and then the banks forced it into administration. They sold it to Gupta's GFG for $700 million who now wants to relist it for $3 billion.

So a company that is now worth $3 billion was taken off shareholders and the cause of that was the share price manipulation

That is one example Ive heard but there are others to do say that it will not always bounce back to fair price - that's my opinion based on a little research
