Gladys is a small ‘l’ progressive liberal who attracted the centre of the political spectrum whereas the nitwits in the Federal Liberals are all about playing the anti immigrant card and doing nothing on climate change.
I doubt the Federal Liberal can overcome the divisions in their own side. There is lots of bad blood and they definitely are behind the times in respect to female representation. Gladys swung it for the State liberals. The Feds instead have Bishop, Banks, O’dwyer and Sudmalis departing, further depleting their female representation. Also, other key Ministers are departing. Not exactly a good recipe for success!
