I must admit though that I fully agree with Harcourt re the spp. The company could have easily done a rights issue which would allow shareholders to take up shares proportionally and not be restricted to $5,000 per shareholder.

In answer to the poster that said, that not all have capital lying around to participate, there were many opportunities to exit above the 11.5c offer price and create enough capital to play the game with an arbitrage profit.

Gotta say that I like the company's assets but HC and the boys actions by going to the instos before the close of the SPP (or as mentioned earlier, not offering it to us as a rights issue) is very much on the nose.
