Shareholders hope that a company will achieve its publicly stated goals by the Directors displaying integrity, honesty and by being true in their intentions. Shareholders hope that directors are people of character. We also hope that they are people who respond to moral obligation especially when it comes to the concerns of so many other people. The financial investment of individual shareholders, and reporting obligations are inconsequential when compared to the integrity and moral fidelity of the company directors. The Directorial position of a company brings with it the burden of moral obligation to FELLOW shareholders. They should not be ignored or treated with disdain.
I am a shareholder who questions the directors’ true intentions due to the disregard shown for their moral obligations and disdain they have displayed to date with all shareholders. The website states “Increasing shareholder Wealth”, however all that occurs is a lagging share price, rudeness to shareholder enquiries and lack of timely and quality market updates. Cut and pasting from previous reports is not an update, it is laziness. Not reporting on stated timelines is dishonest at worst and lacking integrity at best.
Until the Directors rectify this situation Anglo Australian Resources will continue to flounder, as it has done for over 20 years. Sadly to date they have failed me as a shareholder on all counts of shareholder expectations.
