So more rain in North West Queensland. Miners being miners they do get their product to the market at what cost and how much reduction in volume.
World demand doesn’t care about rain or strikes in Africa. At some stage the price of zinc needs to recognise the lack of supply. The smelters have taken a pay rise and the miners turn will come but when is the question. World fears of recession are not helping the price which in turn prevents further investment. The west has a whole lot of paperwork to develop new resources so ramping up new production is slow. So the question still remains when will rvr make a profit and how high does the commodity price need to be to make a real economic profit.
