Great find trumpy. The document has recommendations very much in line with what painchek provides.

This one is especially fitting without the specific reference to PCK. Of course, it's the only thing that fits the bill.

Recommendation number 6: All staff in residential aged care facilities need to receive mandatory, high quality training in pain management and dementia care, including a biopsychosocial model of care and alternatives to physical and chemical restraint.

"The standard also fails to acknowledge the need for ongoing pain assessments for non-verbal residents. Cognitively intact residents may also face challenges in communicating pain, which could lead to underreporting and under-treatment. If residents cannot express their pain and the workforce is not trained to manage Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD) then pain is not identified."
