origin rejects bgs final offer

An ASX announcement on Origin Energy (ORG) this morning tells how they have rejected the $15:00/share offer from British Gas.

There is a 'search box' at top right corner. Type in 'ORG' and
hit GO. This displays a page with share price info. A few lines down is a link "Listed company Info", click this.
A box comes up, Type in ORG on the top line and hit GO.

A few lines down the next page you see a link "Company Announcements",
click this and you get a box of recent ann's. The one you want is currently at the top of a list, click on'PDF'at the end of this title line,up comes ASX disclaimer box. Agree to this and finally you are there.

I think I am happy with this outcome from GDY's point of view. Not because I understand what the full implications might have been had BG been successful but simply we are
no worse off than before and we weren't complaining then.
I also felt ORG was a 'good match' partner with its large local power retailing activity and more direct interest and need for 'green' power solutions.

I'd be interested if anyone has a deeper take on this.
