Hopefully this trading halt and suspension doesnt have bad news to follow. I have held CZL since very early on and like everyone else been dismayed by the progress and performance - but been more optimistic of late and topped up
I have 2 questions on which i would welcome others (Better informed) opinions
One. How much time has management actually spent in country in the past few years really getting on top of the issues - for a small, compact but tremendously high grade project the company has seemed to be accident prone in terms of stumbles with local issues. This is usually a sign of a lack of real engagement.
2.) Some rumours reached us in Melbourne (from Perth, I suspect) that Stephen Copulos has intent to merge the assets of CZL and Crusader which has been a road accident corporately since their very good MD left the company ~2 years ago at the instigation of the Board led at the time by Mr Copulos
I hope this isn't the case - but any better informed people out there?
