the haul road isn't the main logistical problem. it's how to safely get from the lake to halls creek within one shift, ie 12 hours

it's also probably the most expensive transport corridor in Australia. To transport goods to site, say from Perth, they need to drive all the way to halls creek then to the centre of Australia. that's 3-4 days travel there and 3-4 days back with an empty load. then you need to find a drive who wants to do that run....

then consider the impact on the viability of the project and its profit. I am interested in how they solve it so it will be good to see the result
