One would not use language like that ("honoured" "trust") if you were concluding a deal with say an American company. Honour in Japanese culture, particularly business culture, is paramount. If you cannot conform to that you don't stand a chance. Full marks to Jerko for being very aware of that. A small courtesy which could make all the difference.
