there is absolutely nothing negative in the last announcement, have the down rampers lost the plot? Who cares if the announcement is coming in 2 weeks or so? If you have absolutley any idea about mergers, they TAKE TIME! its not a simple process, lots of little details involved, legals, etc..IMO this is how i see it
1. NSL would not be involved in a merger if there was nothing in it for them. There must be Iron Ore there and lots of it!
2. To scrap the last agreement suggests to me that there may be more iron ore than expected - lets not forget they previously signed an unconditional agreement to enter JV on the basis of 200mt at 60% fe...

There is no doubt that there are many unknowns and this stock is highly spec, but we all know that and thats why we invest in these stocks that could provide mass reward...high risk=high reward(potential).

Always do your own research. I have held since Feb and will continue to hold - the sp has more than doubled with no announcement, boy i hate to think what it will do if a positive announcement(s) come...
