Do you want to give him (Bible) some lessons on what the name Jesus means, so he can perhaps undo his confusion when he sees God as our saviour and Jesus as our saviour. As it appears because of it, it gives him a licence to roll them into one
He is looking like one of these oneness lads? But he doesn't appear to want to just come out and say it?
From my times on the search, the best advice I could give anyone, considering how the truth has been lost is, learn the art of switching off your pre-set seeds or at the very least, set them aside. Now that's a huge battle on it's own and you have to keep at it, as there will be a tug of war. It's like someone or something knocking your head off, or you down when your get a peak, look, over the wall, but you have to get up again, no matter what. Study the areas on how to get God's truth, wisdom etc and only keep your nose in the Bible, seeking the above's only help.
