why effective interest rate is only 0.3% ?
could it be that Jiameng has locked up $50m in a term deposit at interest rate of 3% , but claim effective rate of 0.3%, whilst pocketing the $1.35m earning per year difference, into his own personal account ??
why then is the company holding so much cash, years after years ? what's the purpose of holding such high amount of cash, at effective rate of only 0.3% when a term deposit could yield 3% ?????
