So let me get this straight.

The 'victims' of Opes Prime want from ANZ..

The current value of shares that have gone up since their shares were sold by ANZ (full restitution + any increase in the shareprice).

And for those that the share price has actually dropped since the selling.. Full restitution on the date before the selling.

C'Mon guys. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

People took a risk with their money and shares invested in Opes Prime (I'm not getting in to whether Opes or ANZ did you wrong, that is for the courts to decide) and many people were already looking at a loss on their portfolio (due to the shorters.)

As with many companies that go belly up, you need to look at taking some sort of deal.. whether it be 70% or whatever is REALISTIC.

Nobody who invested in Bell, HIH, Evron, Ansett etc, got anything back (pr very little as with Ansett).

I back your sentiment and vigour, but, is it worth it, to take it to the end and possibly still end up with less than what you started with thanks to the greedy lawyers??
