the trouble is that LIT distributions will be much more up and down in line with market downturns
whereas LICs have the ability to smoothen out their dividends, such that during and after the GFC
some LICs such as AFI did not reduce their dividends despite the market falling 50%.
with LITs, the dividends would probably be smashed.
