there should be an extra charge on buying the battery so that people can collect and sell them back just like alluminium can bottles etc, thats how we can have tbese collected if it was just up to tthe greenies we would have now chance all need to be on board and i believe if the labour gov gets in then its something that can be pushed to get done, look what happened to that baby that swallowed the battery and past away, so sorry to hear that may she/he RIP, the point im getting at if there was an incentive to sabe an collect and recycle then this may not have happened, batteriss in toys are normaly secured by screws on the caps so its possible tgat it may of happened with loose batteries and older batteries tend to leak with my experience, i hope that this os a reality and people in high places understands the problem and dose something about and support co like LIT who are trying to make a difference.
