Ann: Grants Basin Iron Ore Exploration Target*- Amended, page-4

I was dismayed by the request from the ASX for an amendment to the announcement made on Wednesday and sufficiently concerned to contact the Company for an explanation.

I have had contact with the Company and been advised of the following :-
The announcement was provided to ASX in advance of its release for them to check and ASX indicated via email that it met the Listing Rule requirements. Subsequently, after its release to the market, a request for an amendment was made by the ASX.

In my opinion, it is good that all company announcements are being checked for compliance, however. in this case it was HAV, who unfairly, looked to have been in error.

I urge everyone to go to the source of concern and check the facts before making inflammatory and derogatory remarks on this or any other public forum.

Much damage can be done to HAV, or any other Company, by the dissemination of inaccurate information and innuendo; with a subsequent drop in the share price; along with the reputation of board members whose interest is to advance our Company.
