I am sure they know the rules and checking by ASX before release should be the regular practice. I am confident the announcement in question was presented to ASX correctly and followed the guidelines. The main sticking point was the font size and placement of the cautionary comment.
i constantly see other small Companies being asked to amend their announcements.
Some Companies I hold get around the issue of keeping shareholders informed by sending out email alerts to research and forecasts on their websites..
i recall the days when Havilah used to have shareholder briefing meetings, I gather this is now frowned on by the regulators. Life is getting harder for management.

Would we all be happy if HAV kept to just quarterly announcements? I think that would have a bevy of posters complaining about lack of information.

A pat on the back for the board and management instead of assertions of poor effort would be a good idea occasionally.
