A new direction is required and yes it has to start at the top. With activity on the rise you need a serious negotiator at the helm with plenty of big business experience. The negotiations ahead will be challenging.

Things are about to heat up in this sector, how many more major announcements do we require before we all see the golden goose at hand. I’m not saying it’s imminent but certainly very evident.

Many stocks have been hammered over the last 14 months, I have taken a pounding but have not sold anything. Such is my belief in the third lithium run that should dwarf the previous blimps in history.

If anybody can see anything in the next 7-10 years knocking lithium off the throne it will take, as the most sort after metal on earth let me know.

Plenty of ideas out there, plenty of hopefuls out there with grand plans of revolution for the battery industry.

But the basic truth is that lithium is here to stay for the next 10-20 years. Just look at the Swiss company Innolith, check out their progress with next level lithium batteries 1000km charges are not that far away. VW also seems convinced that lithium is the only way forward for EVs, but who are they to be speaking such gibberish?

Early next month we have US officials meeting with auto industry executives and lithium seniors, expected at the table are Tesla, GM, Ford, Albemarle, Livent, amongst others, sounds like a good shindig. I’d guess there will be little time to discuss the quality of the scones being served and the cheese content. I suspect the conversation at hand in regard to the EV battery supply chain would be enough to keep all eyes open, nobody snoring in the corner in this meeting.

Rather than rattle on I’ll leave you with a thought. I’ve seen more activity in this sector in the last two months than I’ve seen in the last 14. Somebodies put the pot on the stove.... but what’s the brew?
