Hey @hashtagyolo I started full time day trading last July. Started off ok, then didn't go so well later in the year. Seriously thought I might need a part time job to supplement my income. But it changed in the new year. Happy with my income over the last three months. Don't get me wrong, it's still less than I was earning at my last full time job but boy, I'm so much happier. But, I still have a lot to learn.
One thing that helped me was becoming a 'real' day trader instead of a 'short term' day trader. i.e. I used to hold about a dozen stocks, now I hold two. Almost all my trades are intraday. I sometimes hold overnight but no longer. (I do have an exception CIA which I chose as more a ST/MT play).
