I don't mind you not agreeing with me, this is a discussion thread about religion and philosophy - as others have said before, no need to make it personal. That's an admirable attitude to take. Those of the brothers who kill over disagreement need to learn from you.
As for the hatred and killings in this world from terrorists and government's that wanted regime change in the Middle East since 1094 - none of these are to do with God - despite the Pope saying we fight to recover the Holy lands in the name of God - this is when Islamphobia started followed by anti Jewsish in UK/France/Austria that's before Hitler started. In USA anti Catholic when Mexicans and Irish emigrated there. They kill more inside violent USA with their guns than overseas wars. I agree that there are governments (in the hands of the religious) that want to rape and pillage others and all sorts of phobias stem from this. I hope that you don't want to start a competition on who kills the most people hoping that those who show that you didn't kill the most people are in the clear with God.
You heard of "fight the good fight" from Christian writings and in the Qur'an there were God sanctioned battles, I think in Muhammad''s time he went on 80 military excursions and only 20 resulted in battles - only 1000 odd died including 300 odd Muslims. One battle God allowed 70 of the opponents to die and another battle 70 Muslims. Forget about Mohamed's wars. More to the point is how many people have been killed in the 21st century alone, which is not even 2 decades old. PS why would God allow anybody to die?
This thread gives Scientific and Theological reasons to believe - for those that want to see. That's something that religious sects share. They all attribute lack of sight to those who disagree with them, but continue to kill each other over disagreements. Christians kill Christians. Muslims kill Muslims. Christians kill Muslims, Muslims kill Christians.... and so on. Do you wonder why the non-religious see no sense in religion?
