Yes, Derryn's opinionated and I believe we all should be able to speak out as a Society. Whether we agree with him or not, and to err is to be human - he has said things which have been unacceptable, but in this case again, why shouldn't he be able to voice his opinion about something we feel so strongly against as a society's majority. I'd be so p/off if he ends up in jail again.
Should be more opinionated people in this world like him I say.
