You are very correct I would like to see it fall, I will not disagree. In my defense I saw this as a reasonable offer. I stated I would sell and gave price. Two days later I sold. The only opportunity I have to make more money on Lynas is a failed WES deal. I have no love hate or any other emotion about Lynas. I want to make money! Not long term dreams of fortunes just a decent return at modest risk. Now if WES does not buy them and stock does not fall I will still make good money because I am willing to buy back in at AUD 2.50 or even AUD 4.50 or higher. Right now is a time to sit on sidelines. When the economy picks up and REO prices start to recover I have no problem reinvesting. The price will go to 5 a little slowly then take off for $10 and 15. So if I buy back in at AUD 1.00, or even 4.00 or 5.00 I will not be disappointed because I will beat my average rate of return. Raising My ROR is the only thing that counts I do not care how much I make that is for barroom conversations and I am not one to frequent barrooms.
My advice which I am ok with you rejecting or even spitting on, is the best deal you are likely to get for a while sell and then sit on the sidelines. For record Even if Price falls to 1.00 or lower I will not buy. I will only buy when fundamental changes occur to the WW economy and the users of REE. So you selling and lowering price does nothing for me. My guess is 95% of people on this board ignore me. Of the remaining 5% half will not act so the 2.5% that remain will have no impact on my plans and I am glad to share with them. Second thought it might be as low as .5% that listen, so no impact on me.
Yes lower would make me smile. Never change my investment plans.
