I think, at the end of the day, that we're presumably all grown-ups and responsible for our own actions.
I sold low, but I'm totally cool with it. And it wasn't traders or naysayers or doomsdayers that caused me to sell, it was me just being well and truly over it, on the back of my own research and experience. Which doesn't mean I want AHZ to tank - on the contrary, I'm thrilled to see it climbing again.
People love to dump on the naysayers, but I'll say it again, what's the point of a stock forum if forum members can't speak their minds? And sometimes, that means venting your frustrations. Pulling your virtual hair out and yelling 'KNOBS!' when a stock radically misses guidance is not the same as talking a stock down. It's just venting, and it's often warranted.
100% agree with you Dolcevita about putting emotion aside and doing your own research before you take any decisive action. But I disagree that every negative opinion = talking the SP down. Sometimes it's just venting.
Onwards and upwards.
