You can't help feeling that this issue has been badly managed by both PWC by leaving their decision to query the method until the last minute & the company for not coming out earlier & saying the two methods are expected to produce 'similar' results.
If anyone created a 'false market' it was PNC by saying that changing methodolgies could produce a higher, lower or the same result rather than putting it into a trading halt back in Mar until they essentially released today that the result was expected to be similar!
Nevermind we got there in the end, shame it wasn't until after the DRP calculation period though.
