There are a few basic needs in life...gold art and speculating on stocks dont come into the equation at all in my books, shelter does.
I dont "invest" in companies, I trade companies.
You are drawing a long bow saying its wrong of me to speculate in biotech, telephone, internet, mining etc if I beleive that speculation in property is poor form.
How would me short selling lend lease today effect the amount of food in the world, or pollution produced or effect people cost of shelter.
I am not a tree hugging, god fearing hippie but at least Im not a property speculator.
