I think a lot of it is people just don't understand nickel pig iron and how it relates to nickel prices. They see nickel dropping and think that means pig iron is kaput. Which is just not true, and won't be for quite some time since it is only pig nickel that is satisfying the deficit in the nickel market. Chinese imports of laterite ore are in fact still growing, and Acoje/Zambales is the nearest source of the stuff in the entire world.

All a lower nickel price does is reduce the profit from the DSO operation, it wont stop it.

Perhaps the next quarterly with some actual cash figures and evidence of ongoing shipping will start to convince. In the meantime I would really like to know when we can expect some PGM drilling results. Even just a report saying X holes have been completed would be good.
