Dividends are one of the surest forms of capital that can be controlled - why on earth would Centro, who are struggling just to get access to debt to service the businesses debts and running costs send money out to shareholders.
Dont forget, the first smell of trouble with Centro came when they announced that they would not be providing a dividened at the end of last year.
Is the business in better shape now than then? Well, I will answer - no!
