If you have to run both backups in case the grid drops out, there is no cost saving.
As I wrote, why would you expect that aspect to be different to any other correctly sized battery system? It all depends on how much you want to spend doesn't it, do you need your batteries to last 3 days or 3 weeks before you need to start a generator?
