Well this is all very disconcerting. We can take 2 views.
1. @hoytaedwardo and @Mr2jzgte are correct. They are smarter in this very specific space than anyone else who has ever looked at this product/business. They know their stuff and no-one else involved does. This business will be found out and we will all lose our money.

2. @hoytaedwardo and @Mr2jzgte are wrong. Maybe they don't have all the information now. Maybe they don't know as much as they think they do (They are certainly very convincing in this forum).

If 1 is true then we can only hope that no-one as smart as them looks at this before some suckers make an offer for the whole business and decisions about buying and selling the share are taken out of our hands. After that no shareholder cares whether it does anything or not, even though it will feel a little hollow selling something worthless for millions.

If 2 is true then we just wait and eventually sales will improve, banked income will slowly increase and the market will make its own mind up about the value of the business.

No doubt if H and @Mr2jzgte were brokers they would be saying sell sell sell and cut your losses (for those long term holders). I'm not going to do that because I don't have to and because I don't believe that the business can get to this point without a lot of very knowledgeable and experienced people looking at it. It defies logic that all of the managers and techos at China Telecom would even associate with something that is doomed to fail. Surely they must understand what they are looking at.

On another note, there is some expectation that there may be significant information presented on Thursday at the General Meeting. Past experience tells me nothing new will be learned from the meeting. We will have to wait. The quarterly report at the end of April will again be disappointing and the SP will roll back again. 2021 is still looking good in my book because nothing happens fast with this one.

I think @hoytaedwardo and @Mr2jzgte should be acknowledged for presenting their case, and trying to save us all from their predicted disaster. In 6 months or a year or 2 years, we will all find out who is right. All the best to all interested parties.

P.S. The chocolate tea pot analogy. H, what if I want cold tea with ice blocks - very trendy these days? A chocolate tea pot sounds amazing for that - someone should look into it
